Solid Surface Sinks
FAQ:
Q: What is Solid Surface?
A: Solid surface is a manmade composite stone resin that is made from acrylic, minerals, pigments, aluminum, and other ingredients to create a durable and beautiful material that can be used for all kinds of applications such as bathtubs, sinks, countertops, cutting boards, and more. It is NOT plastic, though some plastic material is involved in the fabrication. In the bathroom space, it is quickly replacing the role of traditional cast iron tubs. It is non-porous, which makes it difficult for stains and messes to soak in. If scratched, it can also be easily repaired using fine sandpaper (for non-white solid surface, it will also need to be buffed in order for the material to match the color of the rest of the item).
Q: Can I install your sinks to just the drywall?
A: No. The sink needs to be installed to the studs of the wall. Note that depending on the width of the sink and the layout of the wall, the holes in the back of the sink may not align with the studs. Please consult with a licensed professional contractor or plumber on what to do in that situation.
Q: The studs of my wall do not line up with the holes in the back of the sink.
A: You will need to consult with your professional installer on the best way to install the sink to your wall. Every person's wall is designed differently and the installation will need to be assessed and performed by a professional. Our support is not able to advise on any installation.
Q: The Pyramid sink is draining slowly
A: The design of the Pyramid causes it to drain slower than a typical sink, but it should never overflow under normal use. Ensure there are no obstructions in the plumbing that can be causing the water to drain slowly. If you would like the water to drain faster, you can use a P-Trap that is longer, or you can use a P-Trap with a vent that allows air to flow through. Please consult with a professional plumber on these options and for more information.
Q: How do I clean the sink?
A: Please refer to our Solid Surface Care and Maintenance Manual.
Q: How do I clean the inside of the Pyramid sink where the water drains?
A: There is no special tool to clean the sink. For general cleaning, you can use a stick with a soft cloth on the end and brush it along the inside of the sink. Do not use anything abrasive as this may damage the sink. For cleaning of the interior before the drain assembly, please consult with a professional plumber.
Q: The drain assembly of the sink does not fit my plumbing
A: Depending on what kind of plumbing you are trying to connect, you may need to use a special adapter part called a "tailpiece" for your plumbing to fit the drain assembly. This part can be purchaesd at plumbing supply stores or possibly online. We also sell the part here on our website as well as a selection of beautiful P-Traps if you are having problems sourcing it. Please consult with a professional plumber for more information.

Q: Do you have an installation guide for your bathtubs?
A: We do not have a special installation guide, but the bathtubs are designed to be very easy to install. For most of our tubs, the drain assembly is already installed, and any overlfow assembilies are pre-built. The only real task is to attach the drain assembly to the plumbing, which should be no problem for any licensed professional plumber. The Newport model will have the drain separate from the tub, but any professional should be able to install and seal the drain assembly. Always make sure that our items are installed by a licensed professional.
Wall Mounted Vanities (Nile, Amazon, Maranon, Thames)
FAQ:
Q: What are your vanities made from?
A: The top is made from Solid Surface. The base is made from solid wood. There is no MDF or particleboard.

Q: Do you have an installation guide for the vanities?
A: We do not have an installation guide for the base. All materials needed to install the vanity top and base to the wall are included. We have a general installation guide for the top here (it will be the same kind of installation as our wall mounted sinks). The base uses a common bracket and hitch configuration that should be no problem for any licensed professional contractor or plumber to install. Both vanity top and base must be installed to the studs of the wall. It cannot be installed only to the drywall.
Q: Do I need to mount both the top and base to the wall, or can I just mount the base and place the top on it?
A: Both vanity base and vanity top need to be mounted to the wall. Do not just place the vanity top on the base without mounting it to the wall as well. Please consult with a licensed professional contractor or plumber.
Q: The top of the vanity is larger/smaller than the base
A: It is standard for vanity tops to extend slightly outside of the base. Due to the nature of how these products are made, there can be small variations in size, color, and finish. The item that you receive may not match exactly what is pictured in images. We do not guarantee a fully perfect fit.
Diatomite Bath and Kitchen Mats
FAQ:
Q: How do I clean the diatomite mat?
A: Rinse the mat with water or wipe with a damp cloth and then air dry in a well ventialted area not in direct sunlight. Please see our Diatomite Care Instructions manual for more information.
Q: My diatomite mat stopped absorbing water. What do I do?
A: You may need to refresh the top of the material using the sandpaper included in the box. Please see our Diatomite Care Instructions manual for more information. It is also possible that the mat is unable to absorb more water due to a high volume of water placed on it in a short amount of time. Have the mat dry in a well ventilated area before using it again.
